by Smoove: My unique sound gives me great opportunities to work with other artists on remix work. After DJ'ing along si de Andy Smith (Portishead, Dynamo Productions) at “Stone Love” in Newcastle I pushed copies of my 12” releases into his record box. A few months later the phone rings and Andy requests that I remix a Dynamo Production track from their Album “The Analogue”. All the tracks from “The Analogue” were to be remixed and released on a follow-up album called “Get It Together”. I chose “Message From the King” because I loved the up-beat tempo of the track. After a solid month of hard work and knowing I was competing with other remix artists such as Krafty Kuts, Fort Knox Five, Katalyst and Geoff Barrow I completed a “Break Extravaganza”. It astonished Andy and the Dynamo Team and was placed as the first track on the European release. They even asked if they could release it as a si ngle because of its appeal and reached No.21 in the UK ‘Beats and Breaks Chart'.
