Natural Self is a producer and DJ who explores Jazz, Hip Hop,
Electronic and Latin influences. His debut release as Natural Self came
out on a Tru Thoughts 7” in July 2001. If you listen back to it now
it’s almost like Rich Harrison listened to it before he did the Crazy
In Love beat for Beyonce.
The raw drum based funk of his debut ‘Shakedown/Soulstep’ was lauded by
